Message from School Council Chair:
As chair of the parent council I would like to welcome you to our wonderful school St. Vincent. The role of the council is to develop, encourage and promote activities that will enhance the quality of school programs and improve the levels of student achievement. We want to ensure that all students and parents are welcome and are aware of our many initiatives that make St. Vincent a leader in education in our area. We are very proud of our partnership with the community, teachers and students.
This year we will be planning many activities to enrich student life here at our school. A few of them include: our annual Halloween Dance-A-Thon (our primary school fundraiser), a food drive in partnership with Kerr Street Ministries that will support local families in need, our Christmas Shop/Spirit Day, that will bring joy in the celebration of Christ’s arrival to our children and finally our various Lenten initiatives.
We are very proud of our students! Our hope is that we demonstrate that connection to school, church, home and community are all positives in our children’s lives. By working together, we can enhance the student life at St. Vincent.
Thank-you for your continued support.
