Thanksgiving Food Drive
Our Peace Ambassadors are organizing a Thanksgiving Food Drive this week. We are asking students to bring in a non-perishable food item. All donations will be given to the Kerr Street Ministries on Thursday, October 7th. Thank you for your generosity in this time of giving!
School Photos – Oct. 4th
Great news! We are able to proceed with school photos (individual only, not whole class) as Edge Imaging has confirmed that they have a vaccination disclosure policy in place and that the photographers scheduled for school photo day at St. Vincent will provide us with validation of their vaccination status. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Fire & Bomb Threat Drill – Oct 5th
We will be having our second Fire Drill and a Bomb Threat drill on Tuesday, October 5th. In keeping with the public health protocols, the Fire Marshall has sent school boards the protocol for conducting drills during COVID-19. Each class/cohort will perform the drill separately to ensure physical distancing is maintained according to public health guidelines. A one-time alarm will ring and then each class will be prompted to conduct the drill through the PA system. If there is an actual fire alarm outside of our drills, all students would evacuate according to our fire plan.
Sacrament of Confirmation – Oct 6th
Confirmation for our current Grade 8s will take place on Wednesday, October 6th at 7:30 PM at St. Andrew’s Parish (this is the rescheduled date from last Spring). We congratulate all our Grade 8 students on receiving this sacrament and wish them many blessings as they continue in their journey of faith.
Cell Phone Use
A reminder that student cell phones are only to be used under staff supervision. They are for academic use or in case of emergency and a student needs to call home. In both circumstances, a staff member must supervise their use. Please do not text or call your child on their phone during the day. If you need to give them a message, please call the office and we will make sure they receive it. Thank you for your co-operation.
