Welcome Back to the 2021-2022 School Year!

A New Beginning

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world

~ Nelson Mandela

We welcome all our returning and new families to St. Vincent! We are really looking forward to meeting all of our students on the first day of school. Our office opens on Monday, August 30th at 8:30 am.

New to the Community or Leaving?

If you are registering or moving out of our school community, please let our office know as soon as possible so we can ensure our class lists are accurate.

Preparing for a Safe and Healthy Return to School

Our staff is working very hard to limit the risks of transmission of COVID-19. We continue to have extensive training on infection control measures such as hand washing, respiratory etiquette, social distancing and the use of medical and non-medical face masks.

We are also developing plans to ensure that each of our students who are returning to school will have a smooth and positive transition back. We miss all of our students and are very much looking forward to being together again! An email to parents with more details about back-to-school plans will be going out from the school early next week as information becomes finalized from the Board and Ministry.

On Wednesday, August 25th, at 7:00 pm, Dr. Meghani, our Medical Officer for the Halton Region conducted a live webinar for all parents. For more information, watch the video here:

Medical Conditions – Parent/Guardian Packages:

If your child has a serious medical condition, an updated medical package form was emailed to parents in June. If your child is new to our school or has a NEW medical condition, please contact Mrs. V at the office to obtain the new forms. The health care forms MUST be completed and returned to the school during the week of August 30, 2021, prior to the first day of school.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation regarding the safe provision of medication and the information pertaining to your child. Their safety, and the safety of all other students, is our first priority.

Transportation information for bus students will be available at To access this information, you will need your child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN). Please note that Courtesy Seats are on hold for now and if that changes, it will be communicated to families.

A reminder that students are expected to be in full uniform for the first day of school. More information can be found here:
