School Update – Week of January 10

Move to Remote Learning – Communication and Support

Our goal is for all students to successfully complete this school year and we will do all we can, in light of the circumstances, to create teaching and learning conditions that will help students.

Now, more than ever, the relationship between home and school is key to your child’s success, and we are committed to keeping the lines of communication open. Please continue to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any concerns about their learning. All of our staff emails are listed on our school website under Contacts → Staff Directory

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly if you need support for your family. Our Child and Youth Counsellor, Ms. Paul will continue to support classes online. We have access to Social Work and other community supports. As well, there are multiple resources available on the HCDSB Return to School Plan for 2021 listed under Supports for Mental Health & Well-Being.

Students are required to demonstrate digital citizenship through the appropriate use of technology as outlined in our code of conduct. We are committed to working with you to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all members of our school community.
