Parent Weekly Update for Week of June 14th, 2021

Attendance

We recognize that this is a difficult time of the year, especially learning remotely and you may be finding it difficult to get your child online at different parts of the day/week.  To stop the callouts from coming to your inbox, please let us know if you are planning not to attend online classes.  Please ensure that you continue to submit your child’s absence whether it is for half a day or 10 days.   According to our safe arrival procedures, we must make every effort possible to contact a parent/guardian when a child is not accounted for.  This means, we will do callouts and phone calls and if we still have not made contact, we must follow our protocols, and contact the police so they can ensure your child is safe.

First Dose Pop-Up Vaccine Clinics

As per the email this week, there will be pop-up clinics at two locations in Milton.  The vaccines are available on June 9-10 and again on June 12-13 for individuals ages 12 and over.  Please click on the following link for more details.

PERSONAL ITEMS IN THE SCHOOL

Prior to the April Spring Break, all teachers were instructed to send home their students’ personal belongings.  There should be no personal belongings left inside the school building that will need to be distributed at the end of June.

The exception to this would be for students in any of our five classrooms that were closed and in COVID-19 Isolation up to and including the day of Friday, April 9th, 2021.  If your child was in one of these five closed classrooms, we will be in touch in the coming weeks regarding a plan for the pickup of any personal items that were left in the school.

If there are any other families, who know for certain, that there is a personal item that belongs to your family still here at school, you are asked to please click on the link below and to indicate your child’s name, grade, teacher’s name, and the item that you need collected for pick up.   Please do not complete this form if your child was in one of our five closed classes that were closed as of April 9th – once again, we will be communicating a plan with these families shortly
