GRADE 4-8 PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION
We thank our grade level representatives who worked so hard to deliver their speech in front of all of the Grade 3-8 students, staff and our visitors at our Public Speaking Finals which took place this past Wednesday, March 4th at 1:30pm in our school gym. A big congratulations goes out to Marissa A., whose speech on “Bullying” is going to be moving onto the Regional Public Speaking competition held at Queen of Heaven School in April. A photo of our representatives has been “Tweeted” out on our school’s “Twitter.” Congratulations again to Marissa!
SEE THE PROBLEM, BE THE SOLUTION CONTEST
Our Grade 8 students participated in a poster contest called “See the Problem, Be the Solution” which focussed on Anti-Bullying, Inclusion and Diversity. We congratulate Rukky O. whose poster was submitted as our school’s winning representation. Many of the posters, including Rukky’s are displayed on a bulletin board in the front hall of the school. A photo has also been “Tweeted” out on our school’s “Twitter.” Congratulations again to Rukky!
