About Our School Council

The School Council is the official advisory body to the school’s Principal.  Elections are held each September.  It is comprised of elected and appointed representatives of the local school community.  It is established for the purposes of developing, recommending and promoting programs, improve the levels of student achievement and enhance the accountability of the education system to parents. 

The members of the Council include 8-13 parent representatives, one teaching staff representative, one non-teaching staff representative, one parish representative, one community representative and the Principal.  Typically, meetings are held at 7:00pm in the library.  Dates will be posted in the Friday weekly updates.  All are welcome to attend.
