Congratulations go out to the St. Patrick’s Graduating Class of 2021!  We wish you all the best as you begin your new adventures into high school.

Thank you parents, for all of your efforts and support throughout a very different school year.

Thank you to our wonderful staff for all of their hard work and dedication this year.

Thank you to our families for your assistance with picking up student personal belongings and for returning textbooks, technology and school resources that were loaned out during remote learning.

Thank you to Mrs. Colalillo and all the teachers that participated in our Year-End liturgy last Friday.  Your hard work is very much appreciated.

Thank you to Mrs. McCormick for all you do everyday in our Main Office.

Farewells and Best Wishes!

Each year around this time we have to say goodbye to those who are leaving St. Patrick School. We thank the amazing staff who have crossed our path, who have shared their gifts and talents in our community, and who have been chosen to serve our children. Your joy and love for teaching and serving our community will be missed.  We wish you every blessing as you continue God’s calling and serve where He leads you. We have been enriched by your presence here at our school and we will miss you all!  May God bless you abundantly as you continue your journey. We say good-bye to Ms. Nardi, Mrs. Tolomeo, Mr. Curto, Mrs. Yatskiv, and Mr. Walker.

We also wish for a very special blessing upon Mr. DePaulo, who has made the decision to retire at the end of this school year.  We thank you for your years of service to the students, families and staff of Halton Catholic.  Your kindness, compassion and care will never be forgotten.  You will be greatly missed!

Monday June 28th & Tuesday June 29th – Asynchronous Learning & Return of Technology and School Resources

Just a Friendly reminder that students will be provided with asynchronous learning opportunities on Monday June 28th and Tuesday June 29th.  All work will be posted on your child’s Class Platform.  Teachers will be in school those two days working on end of year tasks, including collecting textbooks and technology from students/families.  Please arrive during your assigned block on Monday or Tuesday and at the assigned location to return school resources.  Families with more than one child may attend one drop off for all children; you do not need to attend separate drop-off times.  Please refer to the email sent by the school on Friday June 18 regarding the plan for pick-up and return of items.  Please ensure that the device, charger (and box in some cases), headphones and mouse you received are all returned.  Thank you to Mrs. Edmonstone, Mr. DePaulo and Mrs. McCormick for overseeing the return of technology.

September Reopening Information

We know all our families and staff have many questions about what September will look like. Please know that staff at the HCDSB will be working all summer in preparing plans for our return in September in consultation with Public Health and the Ministry of Education. Please continue to monitor your emails from both the HCDSB and our school for up to date information.

Parents are asked to review the procedures for looking up their child’s class placement for September.

Please Note: All elementary student class placements will become live on Friday, September 3rd, 2021. Parents/guardians will need their child’s OEN number which can be located at the top of students report card to access their class placement.  Please note, all lists are ‘tentative’ until final numbers have been confirmed in early September.

Follow these steps to access this information:

  • Click on school tab-school listing
  • Click on Elementary school placement
  • Enter OEN, click search
  • Your child’s name, school year and placement will be displayed

Grade 1 – 8 First Day School Procedures:  The first day of school is Tuesday September 7th.  Entry and dismissal procedures will be finalized and communicated closer to that date, and will be developed in alignment with direction from Public Health.
