Halton Youth COVID Vaccination Program

Beginning Monday, May 31st, Halton youth aged 12 years of age and over who live or attend school in Halton will be able to book their COVID-19 vaccination booking appointments through Halton Region’s online booking systemPlease note that children must be 12 at the time of receiving their first dose.

You received an email from the Board yesterday evening with an attached letter from Dr. Hamidah Meghani, Chief Officer of Health for Halton Region, with information about the Youth Vaccination Program in Halton, including a fact sheet with additional details. HCDSB Rainbow Day ~ Tuesday, June 1st

We will kick off our Pride Month celebrations with Rainbow Day on Tuesday, June 1st. Students and staff are encouraged to dress in their most colourful clothes as we celebrate the rainbow – a sign of God’s promise to love us and a symbol of inclusion for all in our community!

Throughout the month of June, we will join other schools in our district in raising awareness and nurturing our call to build safe and inclusive learning environments where every student and every member of the community is welcomedvalued, and respected

September 2021

If your children will not be returning to St. Nicholas in September, please email Mrs. Kennific- kennifict@hcdsb.org and Mr. Cacciola – cacciolaa@hcdsb.org to let our office staff know as soon as possible. This information will be helpful to us as we begin to consider our classes for next year. We appreciate your help and support.

GRADE 6-8 LITERACY + NUMERACY SUMMER SCHOOL

HCDSB’s Thomas Merton Centre for Adult and Continuing Education is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting registrations for Literacy and Math Summer School courses for students in Grades 6-8. Summer school will begin on July 5, 2021, through July 30, 2021, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Thecourses will be offered in a virtual/remote format. To Register by June 24th: Click HERE. Please be advised that all HCDSB student registration submissions must be approved by your child’s home School Principal before students can be officially enrolled in a summer school course.

Families are reminded that Friday, June 4th is a Professional Activity Day for staff and there is  no school for students.
