Welcome back to all our students and families! We thank everyone for their continued patience as we prepare for our students return to school. While our return may seem or look different from years past its important to note that the staff of St. Nicholas are committed to a positive and safe return for our students.
We would like to thank all the staff of St. Nicholas for their continued presence, professionalism and desire to push all boundaries to overcome the challenges we have all faced over the last 6 months. The safe return to school has been our top priority – it’s important to note that many of the decisions, planning and preparations that are being implemented align with the Return to School document that the HCDSB shared with families. We at St. Nicholas have reviewed the document as well as our own site-based protocols with both our Health and Safety team and our established Return to School committee consisting of both staff and parents of St. Nicholas.
Looking ahead while there may be some apprehension about the return – families are reminded that the school is available to support in any capacity – please reach out to the school administration. Please take the time to read all areas of this communication as it will address many questions families have with the return to school.
On behalf of the staff of St. Nicholas Catholic School, we would like to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year!
