We look forward to our Remembrance Day Liturgy taking place Monday, November 11 at 10:30 am. Thank you to our Grade 8 students and Mrs. Iannace and Mrs. DaSilva who have worked diligently preparing to honour those who have given so much for our great country. All students will receive a poppy on Monday morning. Students are welcome to bring in a donation in support of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Thank you to our Gr. 5 students for leading our school Mass on Thursday. A special thank you to Fr. Ranjan and Fr. Louis for their support of St. Nicholas school.
Progress Reports for our Gr. 1-8 students and Communication of Learning for Kindergarten students will be going home on November 20. Parent and teacher interviews are scheduled for November 21 & 22. Interview times will accompany the Progress Report/Communication of Learning. Please submit your interview time requests by Monday, November 11th.
Advent Season – Save the Date – Our Kindergarten Advent Celebration is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, December 11. The Gr. 1 – 8 presentation of the Nativity Story is scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, December 12. Both events will be taking place at St. James Parish – more information to follow shortly.
The winter weather is here, both Inclement Weather Safety Procedures and Inclement Weather Transportation Cancellations and Emergency School Closures are posted on our school website for future reference.
Students should dress appropriately for winter conditions. Students accessing the field during the winter months must be wearing boots. Students in Gr. 1-3 will need to wear snow pants. All students should have a change of footwear to keep the school safe and dry. Any questions regarding our winter protocol can be directed to the main office.
St. James Parish is holding their annual Parish Bazaar on Sunday, November 10th from 9:00 to 2:00 pm in the school gym. There is a craft and bake table, silent auction and raffles. Everyone is welcome
