Weekly Update Oct. 18-22

Health and Safety

  • We continue to review and enforce hand hygiene, mask wearing, physical distancing and following safety protocols.
  • Please ensure the Daily Self-Screening and “green check mark” appears before sending your child(ren) to school.

Sports Equipment Outdoors

  • students are welcome to bring outdoor equipment to be used in their zone area

NEWLunch Days

  • We are excited to welcome “Pizza Days” back in November. More information will be coming this week!

NEW – Robotic & Coding Excitement!!

  • Grade K-8 students are being introduced to Ozobots and Sparks – programming and creative thinking
  • Grade 7’s – are learning and preparing to teach others about Cue, a WONDER of a robot
  • Grade 8’s – are building, coding and leading us with K-8’s, programming & building robotic from scratch

Many of these items have been borrowed from H.C.D.S.B. Resource Library, it is our goal to purchase our own robotics and coding items through our FALL FUNDRAISER!

  • Fall Fundraiser – School Cash On-Line & Make a Donation – open!

TUESDAY OCTOBER 19, 2021

  • Pizza Day Information Letter being sent home, via School Messenger email

WEDNESDAY OCTOER 20, 2021

THURSDAY OCTOBER 21, 2021

  • PUMPKIN PATCH PICK – UP 4:15 – 6:30 p.m (we have 100 pumpkins)
  • $5. 00 (one medium to large pumpkin, pumpkin prayer, carving tips)
  • Drive or walk to the rear of the school (near the new Library), cash only & pick a pumpkin
  • Meet members of Catholic School Council – proceeds go towards the Fall Fundraiser
  • All health and safety protocols will be followed – mask up, physical distancing & no gathering close together

FRIDAY OCTOBER 22, 2021

  • PUMPKIN COOKIE DAY – $2.00
  • Staff and students who bring $2.00 will receive a wrapped sugar cookie in a pumpkin shape
  • Proceeds go towards the Fall Fundraiser

Save the Date:

  • October 29th: Halloween Fun Day (appropriate costumes, no full masks, weapons, wands) students can also wear orange and black instead of a costume. Dancing and halloween activities through out the day. No treat sharing!
  • November 4th: Photo Day (school uniforms are to be worn) (Individual photos only at this time)
