School Update Nov. 12

Winter has arrived early!! Please remember that recess and outdoor play are part of our day at school, so children must come prepared to be outside with proper winter attire – boots, hats, mittens, snowpants! Here are a few other important updates and reminders:

Operation Christmas Child: Packing Party! Reminder that today after school, starting at 4:00pm we are hosting our “packing party” to give everyone a chance to fill their shoeboxes. Come early as we don’t know how long our supplies will last! We are only running the party till 6:00pm, but last year we ended at 5:30pm as we ran out of items! If you are unable to attend or there aren’t enough supplies left, please fill your own shoebox and return to the school by Friday! This is a great start to give to others for our upcoming Advent season! Catholic School Council Meeting The next Catholic School Council meeting is tonight, Tuesday, November 12th at 6:30pm in our Library.

World Diabetes Awareness Day! This Thursday is World Diabetes Awareness day, and to honour it, we are going to “accessorize” our uniforms with more blue!! So show your spirit and support and help us bring awareness to Diabetes by wearing more blue (socks, hats, accessories!) on Thursday!
