Distance Learning – Moving Forward:
While schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year, teacher-led distance instruction will continue in our virtual classrooms.  During this time, many of our teachers have explored a variety of teaching strategies and formats to engage students in distance learning. All of our teachers/educators have been working hard to provide meaningful distance instruction for students and we are pleased with the progress we have made in such a short period of time. As we approach our final month of school, it is important that we continue to do all we can to keep your children (our students) engaged in their learning. We thank you for your continued support and work on your end at home. Please continue to be our partners in ensuring your children are engaged in the curriculum and learning, especially over the remaining weeks. We also continue to thank our wonderful staff for their efforts and dedication.

As we continue to modify and adjust our instruction online, it is crucial that students and parents are aware of expectations from home as they join any online learning, especially when live. The following documents provide some guidelines for parents and students to help ensure safe and effective live online learning – please review:

Access to the School to Gather Personal Belongings:
We know there are a number of students who left personal belongings in their lockers or classrooms. We are currently waiting for direction from the board, who is working with the Ministry and Halton Region Public Health on a plan that will allow parents to access our schools safely to gather any student personal belongings that were left at school prior to the closure. More information will be provided as soon as a plan has been confirmed.
2019-2020 Yearbooks:
We continue to need pictures for our 2019-2020 yearbook…please help us out! As mentioned previously, we plan on creating a snapshot of this year, including a special section to document this unprecedented time in our lives.
