Weekly Update – June 1st – 5th

Friday, June 5th – Please note that this Friday is no longer a designated P.A. Day and students can continue with their learning tasks/connecting with staff.

Parent Access to Student Belongings:
As we mentioned last week, a plan to allow parents an opportunity to pick up student belongings is currently being developed. More information will be provided as soon as a plan has been confirmed, however this will take place in the last week of school (week of June 22nd).
2019-2020 Yearbooks – Open for Ordering!:
We would like to thank all families for their contributions to our yearbook! We have now accumulated enough photos, however, we kindly ask grade 8 parents to ensure pictures of graduating students continue to be submitted on their online learning platforms (Google Classroom). Orders are now open on our cash online system!

Summer School Programs (Grades 6, 7 & 8):
Summer school programs are being offered through a Distance Learning (e-learning) format for students who have just completed Grade 6, 7, and 8 as of June 2020.  The board will be offering Grade 6, 7 and 8 Literacy and Numeracy Programs. The programs will be offered in two sessions (two weeks/session – July 6-17 & July 20-31). Students may register for one or both sessions for the summer. If you are interested in this program, click HERE to register before the deadline (June 26th).
Photos from Edge Imaging:
The company has informed us that we have parents who still have photograph orders at their lab. If you have not yet received your order(s), please ensure you contact customer care at customercare@edgeimaging.ca. You will be given delivery options available to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via email.
