It was great to see many of you last week and celebrating everything happening in our Catholic School! Throughout the week and as we celebrated mass together on Thursday, we were reminded to move forward to be joyful disciples of Jesus. We are thankful to have such wonderful support from our parents, parish and staff. Together, we make St. Matthew Catholic School a safe and welcoming environment to grow and learn. Thank you!
We are excited to welcome our grandparents on Monday morning. They will be visiting classrooms from 8:45-10:10, followed by a liturgy and refreshments. We kindly ask that grandparents bring forms with them to indicate which classes they will be visiting. Thank you to our parent volunteers and staff members who are helping to run this event.
Parking At/Around the School:
We continue to need to send messages home regarding parking at and driving through our school parking lots. Please remember that parking is available at the church and on Monk’s Passage in the morning and at the end of the day. Our Kiss & Ride program begins at 8:25 and closed at 8:35. Please refrain from parking in the staff parking lot and driving into the bus lane in the mornings for drop-off and in the afternoon for pick-up. Our buses need to be able to drive through our front driveway and we have students walking/riding to and from school during these times. We do understand that parking is a challenge. However, we need to maintain consistent routines for everyone’s safety. Thank you for your continued support.
