The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA), representing Catholic teachers in Ontario, announced today that they will hold a one-day, province-wide full withdrawal of services on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. We were notified yesterday afternoon that the provincial negotiations with OECTA were adjourned, with no further meeting dates scheduled at this time. The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA), representing Catholic teachers across the province, will begin ‘job action’ as of Monday, January 13, 2020, if a provincial settlement is not reached by then. All schools will remain OPEN and student instruction will continue in our classrooms during this period of job action.

HCDSB Schools NOT Affected by OSSTF Walk-out on Dec. 18/19
