School Uniform – Message from McCarthy Uniforms

As we continue to navigate COVID-19 together, I am pleased to share an update on enhanced options for buying your school uniform in 2021. Our school uniform provider, McCarthy Uniforms, has three enhanced options for shopping:  Updated school e-stores, private appointments and a web-supported call-center.

We encourage families to shop early and utilize these alternative channels to avoid late-August line ups. All school uniform products can be exchanged for up to a year and returned until September. For more information, please visit our website at

Outdoor Classroom  / Soccer Posts / New Benches

Our Outdoor Classroom is now complete! The final piece to the project – the cross was installed this past week. Thank you to Notre Dame Woodworking for sculpting a solid piece of wood into our cross. Thank you to our Catholic School Council and our Outdoor Classroom Committee under the direction of Mr. Faiazza for being instrumental in the design and installation.

There are changes coming to the top school field where the baseball diamond fencing has been removed, along with the old benches. New soccer posts will be installed and paid by the Board, while SGF funds will be used to purchase new benches.

This week we think and pray for the repose of the 215 children who lost their lives on residential school (Kamloops) soil. What a troubling week it has been! Please continue to pray for peace, so that we may all live in harmony with each other. Pray for a just world where we do not turn a blind eye to racism and that every human being is valued as an equal. May we all be strengthened by God’s mercy as we yearn for reconciliation – for a kinder and compassionate society. We make the difference every time we value each other’s diversity and accept each other as wonderful gifts from God!

God bless you and keep you all safe!
