About Our School

St. Marguerite Catholic School can be defined by one theme … Pope John Paul II says it best… “Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know – so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves.”

These words capture our highest aspirations for our students at St. Marguerite school.  By relying on our Faith and trusting the instruction manual of the Gospel – along with the reason of brilliant educators like Richard Dufour and the practice of Professional Learning Communities, it is our desire that students will come to know God, and in so doing, to lead lives of learning and service to the Gospel.

Faith and reason, John Paul II reminds us, are the “wings” upon which the human spirit rises – so may our students learn to soar!
