Picture Day – Save the date

Save the date! Picture Day is Friday, November 5th.

Outdoor Atire

With the fall weather upon us and our windy playground, please remember that it is that time of year when our weather changes drastically throughout the day. Layering is a great solution for our students to ensure that they have the proper wear. Please note that children in the K program may be outside during all types of weather, so please make sure to come prepared to play outside.

Volunteers in school

For any parents or guardians interested in volunteering for any school events, both proof of vaccination and a police check is required.  You can now apply for Police Information Checks and Police Vulnerable Sector online without having to attend one of the police locations.  Please visit https://www.haltonpolice.ca/

St. Marguerite Tips

Physical activity plays an important role in the health, well-being and quality of life of all Canadians, and it is particularly important for children and youth. Habits formed early can last a lifetime. Some ways to encourage being active are to reduce screen time, encourage walking to school, create family opportunities to be active, take on a new activity or sport or dance to your favourite music.  Being active not only supports healthy growth and development but also improves mental strength through increased concentration, improving self-esteem, lowering stress and opportunities for socializing.  (Public Health Agency of Canada)
