Extended School Closure

The Premier of Ontario and the Minister of Education announced on Tuesday May 19th that all schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

The Ministry’s news release indicates that the government will soon provide school boards with a plan for return to in-class instruction for the 2020-2021 school year.

At this time, we do not have any additional information from the Ministry, but we will continue to share any new updates with you as they become available.

The news that schools will remain closed until the end of June will likely raise a number of questions regarding access to schools to pick up personal belongings, end of year celebrations, report card distribution, etc. We will be sharing more information to address these and other matters over the coming days.
