Week-at-a-Glance November 1-5

Good afternoon St. Luke Families,

We can’t thank you enough for your overwhelming support for this year’s Spook-a-thon Fundraiser! Students had a fantastic time today and we thank our School Council and the Council Fundraising Committee for all of their hard work. A big thank you also to the council members who volunteered in the gym today hosting the Halloween carnival games. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Remember it’s not too late to donate! All donations received by Sunday, October 31st at midnight will count towards each students final fundraising tally. Click HERE to make a donation! Remember to choose ‘St. Luke’ from the school drop down menu AND add your students name under ‘Message to School Board’ so they are credited for the contribution! Golden Tickets and prizes will be handed out next week, so stay tuned! THANK YOU ST. LUKE!

Important Reminders:

With a few extra precautions you can still make sure everyone has a spooktacular time while keeping safe!

TRICK OR TREATING

  • Trick-or-treat with people from your family household to limit non-household contacts.
  • Anyone over the age of two should wear a non-medical mask. Consider making it a part of or wear it underneath your Halloween costume.
  • Keep your distance from other groups. Take turns and wait until any group ahead is gone.
  • Knock or call “trick-or-treat” instead of pushing doorbells.
  • Use hand sanitizer often while out and clean your hands after handling candy treats you bring home.
  • Stay home if you or anyone in your household isn’t feeling well.
  • If you start to feel unwell, return home as soon as possible.

HANDING OUT CANDY

  • Do not hand out candy if anyone in your household isn’t feeling well or is isolating.
  • Wear a non-medical mask while handing out candy.
  • Hand out pre-packaged candy and use tongs to help keep a distance.
