SWEATER DRIVE UPDATE!
A great big thank you to our incredible St. Luke community for your donations of gently used sweaters towards our February Sweater Drive! Thanks to your generosity we collected 155 sweaters to help keep those in need warm and cozy! St. Luke continues to be the little school with a BIG heart!
Share the Warmth!
As part of St. Luke School’s ECO initiatives and National Sweater Day, the Eco Team is asking for donations of gently used (clean) sweaters of all shapes and sizes. Sweaters will be collected for the month of February and donated to help those in need face the cold winter months. What better way to promote clothing recycling than to help keep others warm and cozy?!
Please send your sweaters to school with your child and we will collect them each day until Friday, February 28th. Thank you for helping us share the warmth with others and save the environment.
All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving a sweater, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That’s one of the things that connects us as neighbors – in our own way, everyone is a giver and a receiver.”
