“If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” “Change is painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong.” “Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” ~ unknown
5K Laker Fun Run
As COVID has kept us all apart for so long and away from all the fun and charitable activities we usually share as a school community along with keeping in mind that mental health and exercise go hand in hand, what better way to end the year and begin the summer, than with a 5k Fun Run. We invite all families in our community to join the staff on a virtual 5k walk/run or bike ride on Wednesday, June 10th, 2020. To join us simply take a quick video or a photo and post it on Twitter using the hashtag #LakerFunRun. If you do not have twitter, but would still like to be part of the fun, feel free to email a picture/video to your teacher and they will make sure that it makes on to our school twitter page.
