About Our School

Inspired by the life teachings of Saint John Paul II, together with home and church, we are committed to fostering excellence within our community. In our Catholic school, we nurture the spiritual, academic and moral character development among those we serve and teach.

With over 725 students, our caring and nurturing staff embody the Catholic values in everything they do.  Our teacher leaders volunteer their time to promote team building, leadership, collaboration and sharing through the various clubs and activities offered here at SJP II.

SJP II is very fortunate to have a very committed parent community that plays an active role in everything we do at our school.  Parents, through the direction from our Catholic School Council, support many initiatives in our school such as an early reading program, graduation, pizza days, social justice initiatives, fund raising, and community building events such as Welcome Back BBQ, Movie Night, and Staff Appreciation Breakfast.

St Matthew Parish is our home parish who complete our triad of home, school, and parish.  Under the leadership of Father Mark and Joanne Montague, they play an active and ongoing role in meeting the spiritual needs of our school community.
