Awesome First Week: Thank you to our entire school community for a very smooth first week! Everyone has settled in to their new classes and just getting back into routine. We look forward to seeing you at our ‘Welcome Back BBQ’ on September 19th and ‘Curriculum Night’ on September 26th.
Council Corner: If you are interested in becoming a member of our Catholic School Council, please come by the office to pick up a Nomination Form. Completed Nomination Forms must be submitted by 4:00 on Friday September 13th.
Welcome Back BBQ!!
September 19th from 5-8pm, join your St. John Paul II community for a delicious BBQ provided by M&M Meats. Please pre-order using cash-online by September 16th. Combos include chips and a drink and are $7 for choice of burger/hot dog/veggie burger or $8 for choice of sausage/grilled battered chicken breast. There will be games for the children, music and a 50/50 draw. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. See you all there!

Lunch Hour Changes: Please be aware that although the time of our lunch hour (11:45-12:45) remains unchanged, children will now go outdoors for recess from 11:45-12:25, then eat their lunch from 12:25-12:45. So, if from time to time you choose to bring your child lunch, be mindful of these changes. Thank you!
Criminal Reference Check
If you are planning on volunteering in the school or on school trips, please know that you must have an up to date Criminal Reference Check on file with is at the school. Applications can now be done online! Please see below for more detailed information.
We greatly appreciate your efforts to follow both Kiss ‘n’ Ride and parking guidelines both in the morning at drop-off and at the end of the day when the students are dismissed to ensure the safety of all students.
Agendas and Forms
Thank you to parents who have paid for agendas and returned the Student Verification and consent forms that were sent home earlier this week. We appreciate all forms being returned at your earliest convenience. Thank you!
