God of all creation, we are blessed to be with one another in this time and place. We are excited to start our break, yet we may feel sad as we think about our friends we may not see for a while. In these times of change, help us to stay connected with you, Lord, for you desire happiness and peace for all your bothers and sister. Amen

St. Matthew Parish
It was a pleasure to celebrate Mass for our graduates on Monday, even if we couldn’t all be together in person. The end of the school year is always a hectic time, and I’m sure it’s more so this year. Thank you all for your patience and flexibility. It’s our solemn hope around the parish that things will look substantially more normal in our pastoral plan next year, but even if they don’t, we’re all getting much better at scrambling together new and exciting ways of accomplishing things.
To get a head start on Sacramental Preparation, we ask parents to correspond directly and exclusively with the parish regarding these celebrations, we’ve prepared our online registration pages for the 2021/2022 Academic Year ahead of time. They’re linked to the homepage of our website (www.saintmatthew.ca) and it is simple for parents to find and use. Again, this coming year, the parish will not be accepting any paper forms (every parent must complete the online registration). Copied below, you’ll find the links to our easy-to-use registration pages. Parents with children currently in Grade 1 and Grade 6 are asked to view these forms. The more that register over the summer, the better situated we’ll be to communicate effectively in September. We’ll still certainly have a “registration drive” once school resumes in the Fall.

Are You Moving?
If you are aware that you will not be returning to St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in September, please let the office know, you can email Mrs. Freeze: firstname.lastname@example.org. We are starting preliminary planning for next year and having the most updated information is very helpful when we look at numbers for class organization.
Wishing everyone a relaxing and restful summer!
See you in September
