“Trivia Fun Night?”
Community Trivia Fundraising Event On
Friday, February 22, 2019
The funds raised from this wonderful yearly event, will help to support our Notre Dame School Council initiatives that promotes the “Social and Academic” growth of our students. We are hoping to have your continuous support in making this event successful. There are a couple of ways that your organization or business could participate.
First, items or Gift Card donations for our prize raffles would truly be appreciated as would gifts of groceries to complement our menu of refreshments and utensils, paper plates, paper cups etc., since our Notre Dame Nutrition Department students will be employing their culinary skills to prepare the food and drink for the evening’s festivities. All businesses and organizations who donate to the Trivia Night Fundraising Event, will be acknowledged and recognized throughout the evening and on the Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School website.
Secondly, you could enter a Trivia Team to compete in this event. It’s easy! Simply gather together 8-10 of your family members, friends, co-workers or teammates to create a Trivia Team. Teams are welcome from all Schools, Community Groups, Local Businesses and Organizations. Individuals are also welcome to sign up and will be assigned to a team. Team members will play together, competing against other teams, answering questions from various categories as prepared by Notre Dame Students. To register as a team or individual, print off the Pre-registration Form from Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School’s website, http://ntdm.hcdsb.org, and e-mail or drop off the completed form and team payment to Notre Dame or email your registration form to Molly Griffioen at GriffioenM@hcdsb.org. The cost to play is $100 per team (or $10 per individual). Due to the success of past events, we encourage teams to submit their registration form as soon as possible and payment should be sent to the school prior to February 21. Cheques should be made out to Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School.
In addition to fundraising, we are hoping that this Community Trivia Fundraising Event will also help to develop a valuable partnership between Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School and the remarkable people who live and work within the City of Burlington. Doors will be open at 6:00 p.m. with the game commencing at 7 p.m. and ending at approximately 9 p.m.
