It’s time to register your child for Kindergarten! To register your child to begin Junior Kindergarten (Year 1) in September, 2020, your child must be four years old by December 31, 2020. A component of the Halton Catholic District School Board’s Strategic Plan is for the board to exercise stewardship of resources while optimizing human, financial, physical and material assets. Therefore, we are pleased to share with you that St. Francis of Assisi School will be undergoing a light renewal project. Over the next few months, all light fixtures in our school will be upgraded to energy efficient LED fixtures. The work will be completed after school hours and on weekends, so there will be no impact on student learning during the school day. If you have any questions about this project, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Our Ignite Student Leadership Team has organized a “Backwards Day” spirit day on Friday, January 24, 2020. Students and staff are encouraged to have some fun wearing their clothes backwards on this day.

Our grade 8 students will participate in workshops and a youth rally led by St. Jerome’s University. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. David Walter of Holy Cross Church and Fr. Mark Sullivan of St. Joseph Church in Acton.
