Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:4-7

This weekend we light the pink candle on our Advent Wreath as a sign of joy. It reminds us of the joy we will share in our coming celebration of Jesus’ birth at Christmas.  May the hope and joy of this season fill our hearts and make us living signs of love for a world that hungers for the peace of Christ.

Thank you to all of the families that were able to join us for our Christmas Family Night!  We still have one raffle basket that is still to be collected:

  • Basket #16 – Winning ticket is #4468

Were you, a loved one, or a friend a student at St. Francis of Assisi School in 1994?  Our board has recently opened the time capsule that was created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our board. We have some amazing artifacts that were placed into the time capsule by students of St. Francis of Assisi School 25 years ago!  Please contact the school if you would be interested in seeing these flashbacks in time!

December 20, 2019 is the final day of school before Christmas Break.  The school board has confirmed that this will be an early dismissal day for students.  St. Francis of Assisi students will be released 90 minutes early this day, dismissal time will be 2:10pm.  Bus drop off times will be adjusted accordingly.  Please ensure that your family has a plan in place for after school care for your child.
