Parent Retrieval of Student Belongings and Return of School Items

We ask that you begin considering which items you have at home that belong to the school such as library books, technology, team uniforms, and textbooks, and plan for their return during the curbside pickup. Drop items can be left at the front door before or after your curbside pickup at your designated side door.

Our staff will be packing up students’ belongings in the classroom and lockers. We ask that Intermediate students that have left locks on lockers please send locker and lock combination information to your homeroom teachers before Monday, June 15 to avoid being cut off.

School Messenger Communication

Retrieval of student belongings and return of school items will be taking place on June 22 and 23. The information was shared in a School Messenger email. If you did not get it, please contact Mrs. Biso bisok@hcdsb.org  to ensure we have your correct information in our system.

Report Cards will be mailed out electronically through School Messenger email on Wednesday, June 24 through the same email system so we want to ensure you are receiving this document as well.

Grade 8 Graduation

We look forward to celebrating our Graduating Class of 2020.  Even though we cannot celebrate together in person, please join us in offering our graduates your prayers.  Bless them with hope that they move into the future with open hearts. That they use their insights for the good of all they meet. Inspire them to believe in the goodness of life, even when faced with challenges and difficulties. God Bless the Class of 2020.  We are so proud of you!

Tuesday, June 23 is our official Graduation day!

We will be sharing the link to the virtual ceremony with families on that day. The next day, Wednesday, June 24, we would like to continue the celebration with a curbside diploma pickup for our Graduates.  This will give our Intermediate staff an opportunity to congratulate you in person.

Families received a scheduled time to arrive, along with a safety protocol via School Messenger email. We respectfully request that all families adhere strictly to the protocol. If you missed it or have any other questions please email your child’s homeroom teacher:

Courtesy Seats on School Buses for the 2020-2021 School Year

Families with children who take the bus to school are advised that the application process for receiving courtesy seats on school buses will be delayed for the 2020-21 school year. Due to physical distancing measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it may not be possible to grant courtesy seats or the process may be delayed for next school year.

However, parents and guardians can continue to submit a Courtesy Seat Application, and will be notified via email once a decision on this process has been made.

Please note that there is no guarantee that a courtesy seat will be offered if you submit an application, or if your child had a courtesy seat in the past. Visit the Halton Student Transportation Services website for more information: www.haltonbus.ca

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
