Catholic Education Week
Catholic Education Week is beginning Monday, May 6th to Friday, May 10th. This year’s Catholic Education Week theme is “Living as Joyful Disciples”. To celebrate this theme, our Catholic Faith and the significance of Catholic Education, our students will be involved in many special activities throughout the week. The five sub-themes of this year’s Catholic Education Week are: Rooted in Prayer; Living in Community; Doing Justice and Creating Hope; Journeying Together in Faith; and Sharing the Good News. To help celebrate the gift of Catholic Education, parents and family members are invited to participate with their child’s class during their scheduled activities. A brochure was sent home on Friday with our youngest and only students about the many happenings during Education Week. We will begin our week with a school liturgy in our gym on Monday, May 6th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a school community Walk With Jesus. We will be looking for parent volunteers for the WWJ. We hope you can visit to help us celebrate Catholic education.
Thank you to the many volunteers in the school community. We are grateful for all you do! We hope you can join us in the Library Learning Commons for an appreciation breakfast at 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30th.
