Celebrating Christmas at St. Dominic School:
The Advent and Christmas season is an enjoyable time in our Catholic school environment. Our celebrations will look different this year, however, we will continue to celebrate safely with our students in liturgy and prayer. We will have a Joy Day this Friday (Dec. 11th), where students in each class will engage in Christmas activities throughout the day. Students will be invited to dress in “Christmas Spirit,” wearing faith-filled/festive attire or red, white and green on this day. Classroom teachers may also plan specific days/celebrations next week, leading up to our last day before the break. Please see direct communication from them on their D2L sites.

Friday, December 18th:
We will also have another spirit day on this last day before the break and students are once again invited to wear Christmas spirit wear.
PLEASE NOTE – school boards will continue with early dismissal this year, with school ending 90 minutes early on this day. Our school will end at 1:20 pm. Please plan for pick up at this time and bus transportation will follow this schedule as well.

Taking Your Children Out of School Early?
Please ensure all student absences are entered in School Messenger and call the school to inform us/your child’s classroom teacher of special circumstances. Thank you in advance!
