We hope this message finds you healthy and safe. It’s hard to believe we are already into the month of June! We miss all of our St. Brigid students and families during this time and are proud of each one of you for the work you’re doing. It has been nice to see the smiling faces on the class live chats this week. We will continue to check in as the month goes along.
We are finalizing our school plan for access to student items. Following the direction from Halton Public Health and the HCDSB we will be offering a curbside pick-up for parents to collect student items on Wednesday, June 24th and Thursday, June 25th. A detailed memo will be sent to parents next week with the protocol and specific timing for curbside pick-up.
Celebrations for our graduates are underway, and we’re excited to honour all Grade 8 students in the coming weeks. A ‘virtual’ graduation mass will be held on Tuesday, June 16th @ 11 a.m. Father Dave will be hosing this mass via Facebook and YouTube. On Tuesday, June 23rd, students will be celebrated through a ‘virtual’ graduation ceremony.
The yearbook for this school year will be posted on School Cash Online for purchase, starting tomorrow. Given the circumstances this year, the school will be purchasing these yearbooks for Grade 8 students as a special memory of their final year at St. Brigid.
