As we reach the end of our first week of distance learning we would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we work towards creating the conditions for success in the very unique circumstances in which we find ourselves right now. Based upon your feedback, our Learn at Home portal continues to be updated with resources and supports for troubleshooting issues. Be kind to yourselves and allow for some time to become familiar with accessing and using these virtual classrooms. The suggested deadlines for completion are meant as guidelines in supporting students and families during this new time of learning. Distance learning is not meant to replace the full classroom experience.
During this time, while our churches are closed for public services, we hope you will take advantage of the following options for celebrating with your family: Holy Week at Home as well as Mass and Holy Week liturgies offered via live stream at Holy Cross Parish.
We want you to know that we are missing our daily interaction with our students and families. During this time of isolation, please take care of yourselves, your families and your loved ones. Your health and safety is a priority. The following resource is a good support for the mental health and wellbeing of our children.
All of the resources that we are sharing today are accessible via the links that we have embedded within this message. As well, they are accessible on our St. Brigid website.
We will continue our distance learning journey, once again, on Tuesday April 14th. Please enjoy the next four days: Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday as a much need opportunity to rest and to celebrate our faith.
Easter blessings to our St. Brigid Family,
C. Lanois, Principal
G. Butt, Vice Principal
