St Brigid Weekly Update – Week of September 30, 2019
We would like to thank our St. Brigid community for the overwhelming response in supporting our Hometown Hockey Food Drive over the past week. We had 5715 food items brought in that will be donated to the Georgetown Bread Basket to help those in need over the coming months. It’s great to see us come together in solidarity, as a Catholic Community, to support others. Hometown Hockey will be visiting our school on Friday, October 4th to celebrate our success!
Our opening school Mass takes place on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church. Please join us! Our Bear’s Cross Country Team continues to practice. Ongoing training is essential! Our senior Bears volleyball teams have begun regular season play and will participate in tournaments in the upcoming weeks! GO BEARS!
Mark your calendars! Our major school fundraiser for this year will be a HALLOWEEN DANCE-A-THON on October 31, 2019.
We look forward to welcoming you to our BBQ & Curriculum Night on Monday, September 30th!
