Joel David Witton

Co-Founder, Speaker, Facilitator

Joel grew up in a large family, with 5 siblings and various pets throughout the years, ranging from dogs, cats, and rodents, to a talking budgie. There was even a few week stint with some baby raccoons (Don’t ask). Joel is an inspirational speaker and mental health advocate, who is passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness. He can relate to the struggles that youth are facing, as he has faced his own battles with mental illness growing up.

His heart is to educate and help equip young people to overcome the challenges they are facing in their personal lives and to inspire them to live for a purpose greater than themselves. Over the past 16 years, Joel has worked with youth in various capacities, including coaching and mentoring and founded multiple youth centres and school groups.

Joel has been a guest speaker for many groups ranging from primary school right up through university. He has acted as keynote speaker for a number of youth & young adult weekend retreats, and also enjoys speaking to shelters and non-profit organizations. For the past two years he has been actively presenting in the Peel Catholic School Board.
