Remembrance Day Liturgy
Please join us in the gym for our Remembrance Day Liturgy lead by our Grade 3 team, at 10:45am. Remember that any Scouts, Guides, Brownies, or Cadets can wear their uniforms on Monday November, 11. Students not part of these organizations are expected to wear their regular St. Benedict Uniform. Please send a donation for a poppy that will be donated to the Legion.
We offer our prayers and support for our Grade 7 students who will be making their Confirmation this weekend. Our students will be re-confirming their commitment to their faith, that started at their Baptism. Grade 7 students will have a Confirmation rehearsal on November, 15th. Please join us on Saturday November, 16th (Maciel & Switenky @ 10am) (Park & Antonelli @ 12:30pm).
Progress Reports & Interviews
We will be holding Parent-Teacher Interviews at the school on Thursday, November 21 from 4:10–9:30 pm and Friday, November 22 from 8:30 am–2:30 pm. This year, you will be able to schedule your Parent-Teacher Interviews online. A separate email has been sent out with step by step directions. Availability is on a first-come first-serve basis, so please go to the website: https://stbenedict.parentinterview.com as soon as possible. The Parent Code for this term is bene2019. Please do not share this code with anyone outside your school community. Thank you for your support.
Thank you to our amazing St. Benedict community for your support and attendance on Movie Night! It was wonderful to see so many families come together with their cozy blankets and snacks to enjoy Toy Story 4. Thank you to our Parent Council for organizing and helping out with an evening where special memories and friendships were made.

The Saidat Show is next week!!
On November 18th, all our students will be participating in the high energy show to learn, “how one person can make a difference, but together we can change the world!” The show will be focusing on the following:
Kindergarten to Grade 3: “Train Your Brain”
This educational performance with teach students the value of knowing and understanding their emotions. Through music and dance, students will learn how to express themselves in a way that is healthy for everyone.
Grade 4 to 8: “This is How We Win”
Students will focus on how to learn from loses, learning knew strategies and ways to embrace both their triumphs and defeats to be their best self! Using games, music and spoken word, Saidat will encourage students to try again, reach out for help when needed and help others who are struggling in order to win!
Parent Council Update
