Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

2 Corinthians 5:17

Thank you

Thank you for your patience and assistance in making the staggered return to school for our in-class learners as safe as possible. Beginning Monday, all students from SK-8 will return to school full-time. We are excited to have all our students back under one roof, spreading God’s word and joy with one another!

Morning Routine & Kiss N’ Ride

Students will be entering the school in the morning upon arrival and going directly to their classroom. Students will not be permitted in the school before 9:00 AM as that is when supervision begins. For safety reasons, we ask that children remain off of school property until 9:00 AM. Only staff and students are permitted in the schoolyard. Parents, please wear your masks when dropping off or picking up your children from school. Please remain behind the pylons on the grassed area at the back of the school and/or do not pass the gates located on each side of the school.

If you are driving your child to school, we ask families to park in a designated parking spot if you must exit your car. We ask that you please keep the Kiss N’ Ride areas moving. The Kiss N’ Ride area is not meant as parking spots. We have staff on hand in the Kiss N’ Ride zones to assist children upon arrival and therefore it is not necessary for you to get out of your vehicle if using the Kiss N’ Ride area.

Lunch Routines

To maintain the safety of student cohorts, we ask that students stay at school over the lunch hour. If your child needs to leave the school for lunch, we ask that a parent/guardian pick them up directly from the school (front doors only) and make those arrangements ahead of time with the school.

Parent Communication

As we do not have agendas this year, please communicate with staff via email or phone messages. Classroom teachers will communicate with parents through the use of D2L or other apps, as applicable.

Covid-19 Daily Screening

It is imperative that students complete the Covid-19 Self Assessment on a daily basis and stay home if exhibiting any symptoms. Students, with no pre-existing conditions, who exhibit symptoms during the school day will be sent home and referred to a medical practitioner for advice or testing. Please continue to send back the Acknowledgement Screening Form on a daily basis for the remainder of this week.

Students are required to wear masks upon entering school property in the morning and when leaving school at the end of the day, as cohorting is not maintained during those times. Students will continue to wear their masks throughout the day, with the exception of during recess/lunch breaks (while eating/drinking or outdoors) and during mask breaks.

Students have been reviewing proper hand-washing and sanitizing. Please review these with your child and encourage them to make them a part of their regular routine.

Health and Medical

Student Plans of Care and medication for those students who have a medical condition need to be sent to school on Monday, if not done so already. Please contact Mrs. Scannell, our Vice Principal, if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s medical care while at school. Please ensure that a spare EpiPen or inhaler is sent in to keep at the office, should a medical emergency arise. Students from grades 1-8 must carry devices on their person at all times.

If your child requires medication during the day, please contact the school to acquire the required form. Any medications would have to be in a properly labeled container.

Safe Arrival

Please remember to inform the school of your child’s absence through School Messenger ( or 1-844-445-4505).

Visitors to the School

At this time, there will be no unauthorized visits to the school. Visits are limited to emergency or essential purposes and all visitors must receive permission from administration and must complete the required paperwork prior to entering the school.

Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions about their daily routines or procedures or contact administration at the school.
