Weekly Update: June 21 – 25

God our Father,
In your wisdom and love you have created us and called us your own. Bless our fathers, that they may be strengthened as Christian fathers.
Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.
In moments of joy, rejoice with them. In times of struggle, give them your courage and perseverance. Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor and appreciate them always with a spirit of profound respect. May the example and prayer of St. Joseph inspire them to live their vocation with courage.
Grant this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Dear Parents and Guardians:

We wish all our fathers a happy Father’s Day and hope you are able to spend special time as a family. This week we enter our last full week of school and we would like to thank our students and parents for your patience and perseverance throughout these challenging times. Please remember to follow Public Health Guidelines so we can hopefully return to some normalcy in the near future.

School Belongings Drop off and Student Pick up of Belongings

On Monday, June 28, and Tuesday, June 29, students will take part in asynchronous learning as announced by the school board. We have designated times for students/families to return any technology, textbooks, library books, or equipment to the school as well as to pick up any belongings and medications that were not brought home prior to the closure. To minimize congregating and to promote social distancing each grade will be given a separate time and each class a specific door that will be manned by the classroom teacher. We ask that textbooks and library books are returned to the designated class pickup spot. Please return all technology to the front of the school. We realize that some families have multiple students in different classes. While any student belongings that were left at the school can only be picked up at the designated location and time (unless prior arrangements made), all items being returned to the school from one family can be dropped off at one time. Families of Grade 8 students are asked to return items to the school and pick up medications via the main entrance between the hours of 9:00 and 3:00 by Friday, June 25th.
