We hope that you are continuing to be safe and are able to spend some quality time with your family this Victoria Day Weekend. Please continue to follow Public Health guidelines. We will notify you when we receive guidance as to the rest of the school year.  

Special Education Assistive Technology Showcase May 26

The information evening will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on the Board’s YouTube Channel.

The information evening is open to all parents, students, and staff, and will feature a showcase with students and an opportunity to learn more about assistive technology devices and its impact on education.

Keynote Speaker ~ Carrie Anton

Keynote speaker Carrie Anton, gold medal Paralympian in Goalball, will speak to her experience in being one of Canada’s leading experts in assistive technology and accessibility.

Multicultural Rosary Circle May 27th

Please join the Multicultural Rosary Circle Committee to virtually pray the Rosary at 6:30 PM. Community members will lead each decade in their first language. A link will be sent to families during the day. All are welcome.

May 28th

On May 28th Students are encouraged to wear their ‘loudest’ clothes in support of hearing awareness. For information and resources, please click on the link to Voice for Children.

Kids Safety First – VIRTUAL Red Cross Courses

This summer virtual courses for students are being made available. For students in grades 2 & 3, there is a First Aid for Kids Workshop; for students grades 4-8 At Home all by Myself and First Aid for Kids Workshop, as well as Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course for grades 6 and up. Please see the attachment for dates, times, and registration details.
