Dear Parents and Guardians:
Thank you to all who came out to our Virtual Curriculum Night. We have received much positive feedback. Thanks to our teachers for their care in preparing their presentations and giving of their time Thursday night.
Thank you for supporting Rethink Pink Day! We were able to donate over $1600 to support young women who have experienced breast cancer.
This week, classes will participate in SAOP S.T.E.A.M.-tastic Halloween Pumpkin Design Challenge. Thank you to our Catholic School Council for organizing this activity and to John’s No Frills for donating the pumpkins to our live and virtual classes.
Halloween costumes worn on Friday need to be respectful of the dignity and respect of all people. Accessories and weapons should not be brought to school. Please avoid your child’s disappointment at school, as these items will be taken and returned at the end of the day. We encourage students to make their required daily masks a part of their costume. We ask that no Halloween treats or items (ex. stickers, pencils, etc.) be shared with friends or handed out at school. Thank you for your on-going support.
Please be reminded that students leaving school prior to dismissal will be called from the classroom when parents arrive at the school and buzz the office. Please do not notify the school of early pick-up times through the Safe Arrival system as these are not seen by office staff. Please contact teachers through D2L or e-mail to provide this information.
Please remind students to wear clean masks daily to school. It is beneficial for students to have a spare mask in case it is required.
