Weekly Update: Dec. 2 – 6

On December 1st, we began the season of Advent. We wish blessings to you and your families as we prepare for Christmas.

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Congratulations to our Grade Seven students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday! We are very proud of you as you deepen your relationship with our Lord. Thank you to Mr. Abraham, Ms. Ferlisi, Mr. Zilli, Mr. De Rosa and Mrs. Borstock from Holy Rosary Parish for preparing our students.

Thank you to the families who came out to Kindergarten Movie Night presentation of ‘The Star’. Much enjoyment was had by all. Thanks to the Kindergarten team for hosting this event.

Thanks as well to all who wore red and donated to the United Way on Friday’s Paint the Town Red Day. The United Way provides much-needed support to those in our community.

As we continue into our winter months, please ensure that your children are dressed for varying weather. To play on the field when there is snow on the ground, students should be wearing snow pants and boots. This will allow for students and classrooms to remain dry throughout the day.

Please continue to be cognizant of safety in and around the schoolyard during entrance and dismissal times.

Please enter the school through the front door and sign in at the office. Parents wishing to speak with portable teachers should be doing so through the office.
