SafeArrival Student Absence Reporting
Our school offers an automated student attendance management system called SafeArrival, provided through SchoolMessenger®.
The SafeArrival system is available 24/7, allowing you to report your child’s absence in one of three ways:
- using the SchoolMessenger® mobile app
- by logging into the SchoolMessenger® web site
- by calling into an interactive toll-free phone line at 1-844-445-4505
Click on the FAQ for more information about how to use the new SafeArrival student attendance management system.
The safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority, and SafeArrival enhances our existing student attendance procedure by making it more convenient for parents to report a child’s absence, and more efficient for our school office staff to follow up sooner on unexplained absences.
Expected Uniform Attire: ISW is the uniform provider for our school board. Clothing from ISW is the expectation for students. Jogging pants and legging are not uniform items unless used for gym classes. Please contact your child’s teacher or the office if you have any questions or if you need further information.
For all up-coming events, please refer to the calendar:
Students in grades 3, 5, & 7 will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the school.
Halton Food for Thought is providing each student with an apple to promote healthy eating.
SAOP will be hosting a Halloween Dance during the day. Classes will be called to the gym for their dance time. A schedule will be posted closer to the date. Students are permitted to wear costumes on this day. Please ensure that costumes reflect our Catholic values, follow the board dress code and are respectful of human life. Masks, accessories and weapons should not be brought to school as they will be confiscated and returned at the end of the day.
