What a beautiful November day! Here are a few updates for this week:
The #NoHateInHalton launches today in schools across the Halton Region. This is a community campaign that was developed by our Halton Regional Police Services in collaboration with the four school districts in Halton. As a school, we will be promoting this campaign through various activities in the classroom, and on social media. We are fortunate to live in such a vibrant and diverse community and are committed to nurturing a safe, welcoming and inclusive school where all students, families and staff know they are valued, respected, accepted and safe. Let’s work together to ensure that there is #NoHateInHalton!
Our Parent/Teacher Interviews are coming November 25th and 26th after our Progress Reports go home on Wednesday, November 24th. Once again, you will be able to reserve all of your preferred time slots with the teachers through an online booking system. More information will be coming this week to you, with detailed instructions on how to start booking beginning Friday, November 12th. Interviews will be offered virtually this year, either through a Teams Meeting or phone call which you can choose when you book. Look for the separate email this week about online booking instructions for these interviews.
Our Remembrance Day Liturgy from our Grade 6 students is complete! Thanks to Mrs. Martin and Ms. DiGiulio for putting together our video presentation. We will be watching this all together virtually on Thursday, November 11th starting at 10:45am. We will send out the link to the video on Thursday morning should you wish to join us “virtually” and watch with us.
Friday, November 12th will be another St. Anne Spirit Wear Day! If you have the gear, you can wear it as part of the regular uniform day. We are hoping to have the online store up this month if you wish to purchase any Spirit Wear items so stay tuned for more information!
Please continue to follow all current Public Health and Safety guidelines and complete the school screening daily (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening/) for each child before coming to school. Thank you for all you are doing to keep us all safe and healthy here at St. Anne Catholic School.
