School Update: June 25

This is it: our final day of synchronous learning! Congratulations on making it to the end of remote learning for the 2020/2021 School Year. The St. Anne face-to-face teachers will be posting asynchronous material for next week in order to facilitate the pick-up of materials, with our official last day of school on Tuesday, June 29th at 1:40pm.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday, June 28th during your allotted time for our “Curbside Pick Up/Drop Off. Please check the schedule for your DOOR LOCATION and TIME to drop off/pick up student materials. The schedule can be found here:

Remember that this is a curbside pick-up/drop-off, and we must follow all current Public Health guidelines, meaning we all have to maintain physical distancing during this pick up, and there will be no gatherings on our school property. Please come to the assigned door to drop off your materials and pick up your child’s items. Pylons will be set up at each station to help you maintain physical distancing. Please remember to wear your masks.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE: MEDICAL PACKAGES – All Prescribed medication for students with severe allergies (EpiPens, Inhalers) WILL be sent home with your child’s packed materials on Monday, June 28th. This will include Medical Information for next year’s school year to be completed and brought to school in September. Please check your child’s bag for this information and any prescribed medication.

In case you missed it yesterday, we shared a “Thank You” video to all our students and staff. Feel free to watch the video as Mr. Melanson says goodbye to a few staff members, and thanks everyone for making a difference this year. With your support at home, we managed to survive the challenging year amidst the pandemic. Thank you for all you did to help the St. Anne Catholic School community continue to be the best it could be!

We wish you all a wonderful, SAFE summer. Let’s pray for a more normal return in September. Information about protocols for the return to school will be communicated towards the end of August and posted to our website then as we await further direction from Public Health. In the meantime, enjoy the summer and the reopening of our Province!
