Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song. ~ Pope John Paul II
Easter Monday- April 5th
We hope all of our families enjoy a blessed Easter, the holiest of holidays on the Christian calendar as it marks the fulfillment of God’s promise. Rejoice, He is risen! Following Easter Sunday, the season of Easter begins and lasts for seven weeks, ending with Pentecost. It is a time for rejoicing and reflection.
School will resume on Tuesday, April 6th.
World Autism Awareness Day
April is Autism Awareness Month and April 2nd was worldwide Autism Awareness Day. People with autism can have a hard time communicating and understanding social cues. The symbol for Autism Awareness is the puzzle piece as the puzzle pattern reflects the complexity of the autism spectrum. The different colours and shapes represent the diversity of the people and families living with the condition. On Tuesday, April 6th, we will Light it Up Blue in recognition of people with autism and those who love and support them. Please join us in wearing blue to show your support.
