Parish Updates

We are very sad to say that Father Issac Thharayil, who has been the Pastor at MMOG Parish for the last two years, will be leaving to return to India next week. Father Issac has been supporting our school community through Masses, administration of the Sacraments, school liturgies, and many warm blessings and adventures. We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know Fr. Issac. His love for children, his deep abiding faith, and his kind and friendly disposition will be greatly missed at St. Andrew School.

If your family would like to say “good-bye” to Father Issac, please consider posting a message to the Kudoboard using this link: link  All entries must be made by April 29th at noon.

We wish to welcome Father Jerry Punnassery who will be taking over as Pastor at MMOG Parish. We look forward to meeting Father Jerry and working once again with the whole parish team!

Mental Health and Wellbeing

At HCDSB, the health and well-being of all students is our highest priority. Our Catholic values instill a strong belief to care for one another and ensure that our schools are safe, engaging, welcoming and inclusive places to learn.

As part of the Board’s Mental Health and Addiction Strategy, we are committed to working collaboratively with our community partners to meet the mental health needs of our students.

Living and learning through a global pandemic is hard on children, youth, families and staff. Our HCDSB Mental Health Leadership Team has compiled a list of resources to help our HCDSB community cope with the additional stress and anxiety during this time of uncertainty.
