Victoria Day – May 18th

Students and educators will not be expected to engage in teacher-led distance learning on Monday as it is a holiday. We hope that all of our families enjoy a safe and relaxing long weekend.

Literacy and Numeracy Summer Programs for Students in Grades 6, 7, and 8

The Thomas Merton Centre for Continuing Education will be offering Literacy and Numeracy Summer Programs for HCDSB students in Grades 6, 7, and 8. There will be two sessions; Session 1 will run from July 6 – July 17, 2020, and Session 2 will run from July 20 – July 31, 2020.

Please note that due to the current COVID-19 situation, the health and well-being of our students continues to remain our highest priority. Therefore, both Session 1 and Session 2 programs will be offered through a Distance Learning format.

Online registration is available for Session 1 and Session 2. You may register your child for one or both sessions by filling out the following online form: Summer Distance Learning

The completed online form to register your child is due by Friday, June 26, 2020

Oakville Library Resources

Oakville Public Library has always provided high-quality materials and programs for children of all ages. Families can access free online resources that are available with an Oakville Library card. Although libraries are closed at the present time, the library offers a great deal of educational material to help support learning at home. School Yearbooks

You can now purchase your 2019-2020 school yearbook through School Cash Online. The cost for a yearbook is $22. They will be given out in the Fall. If you would like to submit your photos during the period of distance learning for consideration, please email them to The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 22nd.
