OECTA Job Action

Labour Negotiations Update

Our school will be CLOSED to students on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, as a result of the recent announcement by OECTA of a province-wide, one-day full withdrawal of services.

Although classes will be canceled on Tuesday, January 21stour school office will remain open for Advanced Kindergarten Registration on January 21st.

Kindergarten Registrations

We will be holding Kindergarten Registration for all Year 1 (JK) students and Year 2 (SK) students new to St. Andrew School this Tuesday, January 21st & Wednesday, January 22nd from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please bring the following documentation: Birth Certificate, Proof of Address & a Catholic Baptismal Certificate. Please note that parents are mandated to forward all immunization records to the Halton Health Department upon registration. Details will be provided at the school. We look forward to meeting our new students and families! Click HERE for more information. Please note, the Kindergarten Registration process will not be impacted by the OECTA Job Action.

Grade 8 Graduation Photos

It is that time again for our Grade 8 Graduates to have their photos taken on Friday, January 24th! A reminder to our graduates- please wear a white collared shirt and your best smile!

Catholic School Council Meeting

Our next Catholic School Council Meeting is on Wednesday, January 29th at 6:30 pm in the library. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend.

STEAM Family Night

We are very excited about our upcoming STEAM Night brought to us by the Learning Tree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) on Thursday, January 23rd at 6:30 PM. This night is for the WHOLE FAMILY to enjoy fun STEAM activities together.

This event is sponsored by our amazing School Council!

Parking Lot Safety                        

The safety of our precious children is always our primary concern. Please continue to use caution and be vigilant in the school parking lots. All parents using the Kiss-and-Ride are reminded to use patience and not get out of your car. Please always wait your turn and pull up to the curb. Please do not pass another vehicle in the Kiss-and-Ride; please follow the traffic flow even if your children have disembarked. Students should never be running across the parking lot to enter vehicles. If you wish to walk your child you must park your car first!

Senior Basketball

Our Senior Basketball Season begins this week. All games start at 3:45 pm. We wish our teams good luck this season!
